My grand-daughter comes three mornings a week. Though we still play with our ‘babies’, she clings to Mommy like Velcro since nursery school started. To entice her, I have craft projects awaiting. Mom is a mere memory, and she barely says good-bye, heading towards the paintbrush… : )
I spent the weekend prior, gathering hickory nuts from the hedgerow and gluing the two pieces together that tend to split while drying. Two trays! Now we just have to glue the spots on.
Awwwwww… can I come paint with you?? That is so precious. What special time with your granddaughter.

Ah, you make me giggle. Yes, come! After we did the spots, it was time to play out in the rain and jump in puddles.

Yes. She does love her crafts and I plan to continue our endeavors. As long as paint, glue or glitter is included, she’s all in!
How are the horses?

She loves her crafts. We’ll be busy this winter as long as my ideas hold out.
