Waking with the birds had one advantage, walking before the heat and humidity hits. Seeing the sunbeams made me traipse back into the house for the camera…
Yes, that would certainly have been a difficult photo to take, with that kind of light. I have tried it once myself, some years ago, but I couldn’t catch the rays that I seen.
Sheltering in place. In isolation mode. Following all the restrictions. I don’t mind it, (being a socially awkward introvert), but I do wonder if we will ever resume ‘normal’’ interactions again.
Yes, it may be a long while. I tend to like a lot of time to myself, but I do miss the gatherings with close friends once in a while. The phone or video isn’t quite the same.
It took my breath away! I said a big thank you over and over!
I went to summer camp about that age on a lake several years in a row. Such great memories! The counselor would read stories in the hallway at night with a flashlight for us all as we listened in our bunks near-by. Swimming, campfires, camp songs, and all the fritters one could eat in the huge breakfast hall on Sunday monrnings.
Those sunbeams are lovely.

The camera cannot always capture what my eyes see, but this time it did pretty good. Thank you!

Yes, usually, but there are moments where great fear sets in. Thank you… How about you?

So lovely! Reminds me of mornings in the Berkshires when I was there at summer camp as a tween (12 & 13).
