SUMMER PLEASURES

001My garden gasps out its last beauties… then a ride along the canal with my ratty $12 bike that finally broke down. So I walked back enjoying that just as much… fresh corn from the farm, and a garage sale on the way home where the latest bargain is a sparkly garden spinner for three bucks.

The simple pleasures of summer… Who could want more?

    1. Oh dear!
Mine is good for some things, but I had to sift in sand, manure, topsoil and peat for all the flower and vegetable gardens. And I had to break the hard clay up with a trowel which was hard packed and took quite a bit of work…
